This extended hotel is relatively new and seems well maintained. I have stayed there multiple times. It is approximately 15 minutes away from the KCC convention center by car. It is located in a safe, suburban neighbourhood. The staff attending to the front desk are friendly and helpful. Some rooms have full kitchens and they are quiet. No issues with the WiFi. The bathroom door slides closed (some people don't like this). The shower is a walk-in style (no tub) with strong pressure and hot water. There is no bathroom fan, so steam from the shower is passively vented. Housekeeping is minimal which is to be expected for an extended stay hotel. There is a bar on the main floor, but I didn't use it. There is a breakfast buffet, but again, I didn't eat there. A friendly reminder to look for the Hyatt *House* when booking. A Hyatt *Place* hotel is a short distance away and is not recommended. In summary, this Hyatt House gets a strong recommendation from me.

Good breakfast with made to order omelet's and pancake's. Plenty of options. We got a free banana pudding bar when we were back in the evening, it was great. Nice bar or seating to hang out and even some outdoor seating by the fireplace with a grill if needed. Great overall experience!

Hotel is well located, very near to great shopping and many restaurants. Room was spacious and clean. Staff is courteous, efficient, and helpful. Water pressure is fabulous! Breakfast is the best complimentary breakfast we've had anywhere. The made-to-order omelets were delicious, coffee was excellent, sweet potato tater tots were yummy, and my husband loved the biscuits and sausage gravy.

My family and I had an exceptional stay, and it’s clear the manager’s (David) leadership and focus on customer service and relationships set the tone for everything. The team was exceptional as well, and followed through with genuine care and attention, making every interaction feel thoughtful and unhurried. This was truly an ‘above-and-beyond’ experience, and we left feeling appreciated and will definitely return for future visits. Highly recommend.

I will never stay here again due to the additional form I had to sign to stay because my daughter is an athlete. I have never had to sign one of these anywhere we've ever stayed. Simply because they had some terrible guests at one point does not subject me to this after I have booked, arrive to check in, and am made to accept these terms to stay without providing me a copy. Not acceptable. Then I requested that my conditioner be filled that was empty, repair the door closure that was making a horrendous noise every time the door was opened or closed, and fix the toilet handle that was broken. We had to hold the toilet handle up for several seconds to get the water to stop. They did send someone but we had a privacy notice in the door due to my daughter napping. I was back in the room within the hour as they told me maintenance would come back prior to the end of their shift which never happened.
