Cute rooms, good amenities (even free popsicles!), super friendly housekeeping. She even waved us goodbye when we left.

The location is really good, it’s 10 minutes away from two different train stations and bus stops so it was convenient. You also have a lot of convenience stores nearby. It was cool to have a kitchen, too, we could store our food there for the next day.

Wifi was terrible, we stayed in the second floor and it never worked for us, we had to go downstairs if we wanted to have connection. Also, the pipes in the bathroom smelled awful, there were times where the whole room smelled like a sewer because of that. Finally, the room is very small, we couldn’t really walk with the futons and our backpacks in the room. Unfortunately I had the chance to compare another hotel room in the area which was way bigger and a little cheaper than this stay, so I felt a little disappointed.

It was clean and slick, bedroom and futons were perfect. I’m not sure why everyone is complaining about noise.

Bathroom was a little cramped

10 Minuten zum Bahnhof, leider unscheinbarer Eingang, wir sind erst dran vorbeigelaufen. Haus und Zimmer ansprechend und schick. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, aber das ist ja hier oft so. Manchmal Geräusche aus dem Foyer/Aufenthaltsraum. Das war aber erträglich, die 5 Nächte in Kyoto waren schön.
