Private Organic House

Very small , just 3 chalets. did feel like we were staying in the jungle. The evening meal was home cooked and tasted great. We're very happy with the safari tour the owner, Paul, ran , including fabulous breakfast deep in the reserve somewhere.

Everything was great! The room was very comfortable with a large bed and a very interesting bathroom with stones on the floor which gave it a beach/outdoorsy feel. The hosts were also great and we did the safari with Upul, the owner. It was a good decision as the tour was quite a bit longer than the average ones offered there and we saw a lot of wildlife. Breakfast was also delicious, prepared by Upal's wife. I think for us it was the best place we've stayed in Sri Lanka in terms of quality vs price.

Lovely room and terrace, good air con, friendly and helpful hosts. We also did the safari offered which was excellent as it avoided the busy tracks in the national park leading to a more tranquil experience. The host was very knowledgeable and had a good eye for spotting wildlife.

Free bottled water would have been a nice addition

We were very warmly welcomed by Upul and his family and the fresh juice and homemade cake on arrival was much appreciated. The lodges are lovely, spacious, well equipped and in a quiet garden setting. We chose to visit the national park with Upul and the two other couples who we were staying at the property. Upul proved to be a great guide and we saw lots of animals and birds. Upul also provided breakfast too. Altogether a great property and a super host. Would certainly recommend.

Lovely little eco lodge! Super close to Udawalawe park, which is why we were visiting. Upul was super knowledgeable and was an awesome safari guide! Would recommend 100%!

Beautiful decoration, nice hosts, nice location! I would definitely recommend.

Everything about our stay here was excellent. We loved the freshly blended juice and freshly baked cake we received on arrival, as well as the dinner and breakfast cooked by Upul’s wife (really recommended opting in for the dinner as it’s far better than any of the early restaurants). The hut (which is much roomier than what you think of when you say “hut”) was very clean and had everything we needed, the bathroom was the same. We really enjoyed sitting on our little terrace and watching the various animals of the jungle and household pass by. The safari that Upul organised (which his cousin led for us) was stellar - we opted for the full day and it paid off as we saw a family of elephants bathing in the afternoon! The food provided on the safari was also good, really appreciated all the fresh fruit.

Such a cute little stay. Very comfortable and clean. Amazing host and safari by the host. SWe are so glad we chose to stay here as it did not disappoint!
