Near the beach Good breakfast Big room, and fantastic vieuw on the sea. We got free welkom snacks in our room.

Wanted to keep our passports as a deposit. We didnt agreed, and it was no problem. It was no problem.

After a one night cruise on Halong Bay, I wanted to stay and enjoy the view of the islands longer rather than heading straight back to Hanoi, so we booked this hotel for one night. We booked a 'Queen room with a sea view', and the view was EPIC. The rooms on floors 16 to 18 have floor to ceiling curved windows. We knew it would be good, but the view was still staggering. We had one window like this in the bedroom, and another one in the bathroom, so we each had a bath with the best view ever. I also booked this hotel because of the beach. There were a few friendly people giving swimming lessons to little children with lifeguards, but otherwise it was very quiet and easy for swimming. The room was big and immaculate, and staff were always clean to help. Overall, the facilities were grander than I expected. There is also a cool cafe and bar round the corner, called Da Bong (football).

As others have said in previous reviews, the restaurants were shut and it wasn't clear if the swimming pool was open. We didn't see many people at breakfast, so it makes sense that opening a whole restaurant would be too expensive. The room service was available until late, but it would have been good to have more vegetarian options, The breakfast was vast and had a huge range, but staff didn't understand what I meant by asking if foods contained dairy. Labelling for dairy / gluten would be helpful. The local restaurants and cafes are great, but be warned for planning, all the ones we visited take cash only.

Great customer service! Staff were very attentive and responsive. Before arriving, Chloe was prompt to respond to queries about the spa booking. Spa and massage were amazing too. Staff also surprised us with welcome fruits and cakes! Hoai (Hailey) was fantastic in answering queries about nearby places and arranging our transport to Tuan Chau International Marina for the cruise. Great sea view from the room. Room was clean and spacious. Hoi Gan Beach and Winmart is just behind the hotel. Family owned restaurant, Bun Cha Huyen Vu sells one of the best Bun Cha, just opposite the hotel. Tuan Chau International Marina is just 30mins away for the cruise. Hope to be back!
