"Great spot for The LemonDrop Divas"

10.0

We had a group of 120 women for a campout and the place was perfect for us. Lots of facilities for our large group, The kitchen was well stocked and had lots of refrigerators and cooking facilities. The outside veranda was inviting and the firepit well used. I would definately go there again. No cell phone service but WIFI is available

"WORST CABIN EVER"

2.0

Worst cabin EVER! The floor was filthy, the sheets on the bed where not washed and full of dirt. When we checked in was told that the store would be closed on the one full day, could have given us warning when we made the reservation. Was placed as far away from any other camper, literally as far away as we could get. Then to top it off, this hell hole chargers us an extra $50 dollars claiming we moved a fire ring and threw eggs at the walls inside. They claim that 2 disabled people and an 8 year old girl moved the fire ring into the parking area, why the hell would I even put a fire near my car, let alone where we had a tent for our dog.

"Great family place!"

8.0

We stayed in one of the cabins and it was great. We stayed in one that had the kitchen, bedroom, and living room. They have many other choices as well in different price ranges. It was close to some trails so we could go 4 wheeling and exploring. It was a great family vacation and each area has its own fire pit and grill. I would highly recommend this place. It was a great value.

"Awesome Experience "off the grid" ... like no other ••"

8.0

We camped almost a week with 40 friends who all have same brand of Class C RV. The club has been coming for a few years. This year we were awed by the improvement and upgrading of facility the owner is making. Mike the Manager is friendly and most helpful for any way to make better you experience. Horse folks comes from far and near; there are pens, corals, event circle, etc. And they full hookup park nearby, under the deep blue skies. The solace and silence is so peaceful, broken only by occasional fly-over by military jets from bases in El Centro and elsewhere. Chelsey runs the Cafe and offers variety of burgers and sandwiches, along with cold soda and yes, ICE CREAM!!

"Butterfield!"

10.0

The old Butterfield Stagecoach area was a great place to go Camping back in the 1980's! However this place still has a pool even though the fires wiped most of this area out Years ago. It is nice to see that it has reopened.

"I would return...."

8.0

If your looking for the middle of nowhere, this is it. Great if you have horses! Fortunately it was a warmer weekend so we had the pick of the lot. We got a great lot under some trees. Lots to do. Pool, basketball court, kitchen, trails....I even saw someone coming from a Yoga class. Staff is friendly. Close enough to town but no cell service and the WIFI was very weak. It got better when most people headed out Sunday. All in all, I would totally recommend this RV resort if you are looking to get away and camp out in the desert.

"Quite during off-season"

10.0

We spent a night here in January and the place empty, we did not see anyone else our entire stay. However the campground was very nice and they had lots of group meeting areas for cooking or just hanging out around a firepit. This place must rock when it is full of people.

"Beautiful place, poor customer relations"

4.0

This is a gorgeous campground in a desert setting with 360 degree views of the mountains. We stayed one night and would have gladly stayed a week just for the relaxation and beautiful scenery it provided. We stayed on New Year's Eve, the campground was not crowded and we were pretty much by ourselves. The ONLY reason I rated this so poorly is because they charge $3.00 per pet and we have two dogs. When my husband questioned this the next morning the desk clerk said that "the owner likes money". Enough said!

"Hot windy weekend"

6.0

Used a coupon for two day trip we end up only staying one due to the extreme heat and wind storm that came in and literally blew the entire day and evening it was so bad we couldn't start one fire but then again it was so hot we don't want to start a fire Very cute spot if you're there when the weathers better we literally were the only ones on the resort that we're trying to tent camp everyone else was in an RV or one of the air-conditioning cabins at least I think the air conditioning worked in the cabins it was so hot we didn't even see anyone walking aroundPlease see my full review on Yelp.com

"PCT hikers they are expecting you."

10.0

Stayed here while hiking through. They have specials just for Pct hikers. Free showers with your stay full laundry services. Grocery store NOT overpriced at all. Could resupply here if necessary. Ice cream it's the best! Definitely recommend for future hikers
