Urban Elephant. The Docklands

It was very close to the stadium, V&A Waterfront and restaurants. Loved the City life and felt comfortable. The check-in was thorough and relatively quick. The host was welcoming and quick to communicate. Will stay here again!

It was a bit small for a family of 4. But we managed and was indeed cost effective. So very difficult to complain.

The proximity to restaurants and stores was convenient. The ground staff at the door were very helpful. It can be overwhelming being in a new city with children, but the staff walked us to a nearby cafe and restaurant on our first day, and really went above and beyond.

The location is easy to explore Waterfront area by walking. The Terrace is big and it’s great to enjoy sunset on the roof pool.

The property was clean, a nice size, had a washer and dryer, and a beautiful patio. They provided extra’s such as; coffee pods, tea, sugar, a bit of milk, and cold water in the refrigerator. There was dish soap and laundry detergent as well. There was also an extra blanket if needed. The hosts were wonderful. They provided a free parking space for our rental car and offered us early check-in and late check-out. They also checked on us regularly during our stay. There is security at the front so you feel safe as well.

The only thing I didn’t love was the automatic bathroom light. Having to use the restroom in the middle of the night or early morning made for a very bright experience. Otherwise it was perfect.

Position ( too isolated for solo travellor), so unsafe and dark at night. Only 1 restaurant close enough for dinner and didnt feel safe. Security advised me not to walk to recommended restaurant as it was too far away and too dangerous for ANYONE to walk to. No reception per se, all done via whatsapp after security at reception gave the okay. Code entry to unit
