Urban Elephant. The Docklands

The apartment was extremely spacious, modern and clean with good facilities and a very spacious balcony. Wonderful pool and sun deck with gas braais on the rooftop. There was a coffee shop downstairs and restaurants close by. 5 minute walk to the V&A Waterfront. Wonderful staff.

Just remember that, like in any big city, you always need to be vigilant when out and about but I always feel safer in South Africa than in Glasgow or Dundee! ❤️🇿🇦

The location was great, and it felt like home

Docklands location better than Bree but Bree facilities better than Docklands (Bree has real pool bar area rather than unmanned BYO at Docklands). Security is extreme but welcome. It's residential building with holiday let's, Urban Elephant being one of them, not a holiday complex. Clean and well presented.

Advertised roof bar is not a bar. Its an unmanned space and pointless. Nowhere near the advertised feature. Bree was far more appealing in this. Be careful when booking multiple rooms at Urban Elephant, there is more than 1 location (our family booked wrong and despite asking to link bookings and be close, Urban didn't tell us till our taxi arrived). They are close and walkable but beware.

Location!! The room was perfect and the facilities more than sufficient. Vida e Cafe right at the entrance for nice coffee!! Secure parking.

I was n bit complex to find initially and the sign-in process a bit tedious. However, once sorted access worked perfectly.

Location was great, very central.

Waited 3 days after requesting additional toilet paper. Bed: very uncomfortable, and awkward to walk around.
