Hampton Inn Hastings

Overall a good trip and decent hotel. Only stayed 1 night. The plug-ins in the bathroom didn't work. Tried pushing the buttons on gfci plugs and everything. I forgot to let the front desk know before we left but wasn't a major issue.

Very nice. Would be amazing if hotels wouldn't raise there rates during major events

Breakfast ran out and i had reserved a 2 bed sofa bed, they didn't give me one. I paid for one.

Mistakenly booked the Hasting hotel when I meant to book Grand Island as was flying out of the CNRA (airport) the next day. I was unable to switch locations through Hotel.com (which was a little frustrating but I agreed to the terms when I booked it—my bad and theirs as would have been nice to do). Made the best of it every tho’ on a WINTRY night it meant more driving in the early morning when roads would not be cleared yet. The staff (young man at the desk during the night…sorry no name) was very understanding as my anxiety level in driving in the morning was growling. Deb in the kitchen just before I left also was very forthcoming on the road conditions and kind in spending time with me. Even told me to call that I had made it—so sweet. Kayleigh (maybe) called later in the morning as I was driving to ask if I was returning as who knew where I would land when I left? Thanks to a great staff at this facility—your kindness was greatly appreciated and really made all the difference. Take a bow as I did make the plane but cancelled the flight—NE. winters won as my return was also going to be a bad day for NE weather and I was not up to another day like TODAY at age 72. Winning staff and facility.
