Really nice experience! Everything was ok, I reccomend you to stay in this place. The best attracion is off road (host is very charismatic, sociable and speak in english very well!). You can use showers and toilets, wifi it's really good. And you can sleap outside if you want!

Dinner could be better - it's definitely overprized. I don't recommend it.

"A night in the desert"

The camp in the desert was super, the host, his family and the staff super welcoming and ready to help. It is not only a pleasant experience, but helps you deep dive in bedouin Omani culture Extremely recommended!

Simple and good set up, camp fire with Bedouin information was good.

Restriction after 10.00pm (but no body imposed, one way good for other occupants). Breakfast items were over within 40min of start, but timing given was 1 hour, when asked kitchen staffs were not polite.

"Excellent place to say"

10.0

We are very happy that we selected this place to stay. The arrival was convenient, we parked our normal rental car at the base at the end of the asphalt road, enjoyed tea and dates and then took the 4WD car to move to the desert (for a reasonable fee). Already this journey was an interesting experience. The camp in the desert is very nice, it's not very large so you can enjoy the nature/sand near by. There are some dunes next to the camp. Most people go to towards the dunes to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. Breakfast is included and is very good. We also took the dinner and it's really good value. There are some free activities like local cloth, evening fire and goat milking. These activities will keep you busy during your stay. (If you plan to relax and enjoy some quiet time you should spend at least 2 nights.) Our family tent was big with many beds, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a private bathroom next to the tent. There's also some WiFi and mobile signal. There's light in the tent and electrical sockets in the main building. Free coffee/tea/water is a nice bonus.

"Wahiba Rustic Camp was Mixed bag: beautiful location, clean facilities."

7.0

The camp is easily accessible, thanks to the host's clear map instructions. While the facilities are older, they're clean and well-kept. On a positive note, we were offered a special discount on dinner for our family of four.

The sunrise and sunset activities, camel feeding, and goat milking (though we didn't find goats for milking) could benefit from specific guidance on timing & location. Additionally, it was noticeable that foreign ('white-skinned') guests received more attention and personalized experiences compared to locals!

"An amazing place to experience the desert"

10.0

I loved everything about this place! The tents and beds are very comfortable, with clean bathrooms and chairs and tables in front of the tent where you can relax. I walked to the top of the dunes at sunset and sunrise and spent hours alone there, with not a soul in sight, which felt great. The dinner and breakfast buffet had a lot of options and were good, and both the family that runs the camp and the staff members were nice and helpful. I also got a chance to milk a goat and feed lambs and camels, which was fun. It’s been my favorite place in Oman, by far!
