My Place Hotel-Shakopee, MN

I want to preface this to make a special shout out to Courtne at the front desk who is amazing and doing her absolute best with this place. She's awesome and provided amazing service during our stay. The star rating is about the actual room experience ONLY, during our stay in early October 2025. The good: 1. Can't beat the price. I had a special group rate, but even without it this looks to be the most budget-friendly hotel in the area. 2. Surprisingly good, powerful shower in the room we stayed in. 3. The bedsheets were clean, and the fridge/microwave were clean and in usable condition. 4. The lobby is clean and spacious, with ample seating and entertainment. In conclusion, for less than $107/night this place is still worth it to have a clean bed to sleep in and your own breakfast menu, but don't expect luxury here.

The staff were very kind and friendly. Got us checked in easily and put us far away from the other guests that were being loud/rude waiting their turn in the lobby. The room was very comfortable and just what we needed after walking around the renaissance festival all day. Great shower with lots of hot water. Room was nicely furnished with all you need and had a comfortable bed. Lots of good convenience store options nearby, too.

Everything was great, nothing negative to say.

I liked and enjoyed the quiet and comfortableness of my stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Cleaniness and I always had parking available.
