Such a beautiful hotel, perfectly situated with panoramic views as it sits right in between two bays. All furnishings were well thought out and put together creating an atmosphere that did not feel imitated or cheap and really felt luxury, we have never stayed somewhere so nice. The staff were all super super super lovely, so helpful friendly and fun and could not have made us feel more comfortable. We also used all the facilities like the spa and restaurants which were easy to book and get into and really good value for money. This is a hotel you don’t want to leave once you are in and is perfect for a luxury private getaway as part of a larger Vietnam trip or special weekend away if you live in SEA region. We found out that the hotel may be at risk of closing which would be such a shame and we really hope that this doesn’t happen as we would love to come back!

There are major renovations in Cat Ba at the moment which does not really effect the hotel experience but should be known about if you are planning to stay in Cat Ba, outside the oasis of the hotel there is not much open and much construction happenings as the bay on one side is being completely re developed as a new resort destination, the hotel itself is perfect though and on the main side of the hotel, you cannot hear or see any signs of this development.

Our stay at Hôtel Perle d'Orient Cat Ba - MGallery was absolutely unforgettable! The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and offered the most incredible views from our bedroom. We couldn’t get enough of the stunning scenery. The Japanese restaurant was a standout, and breakfast was equally amazing with a fantastic variety of delicious options. The cocktails were delicious, making our evenings extra special. The hotel is about a 15–20 minute walk from the main bay, but it’s easy to get into town as there are usually open taxis waiting at the bottom of the hotel. They charge just 10,000 dong each (around 33p), which was super convenient. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcome throughout our stay. Honestly, we couldn’t fault the hotel—it’s the perfect place for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. Highly recommend!

Loved the view overlooking the beach. The hotel had a lovely pool very quiet when we were there. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast had an amazing choice and was delicious.didn't eat for dinner as we were out in the town so can't comment on that. It was my husbands birthday when we were there and they brought a cake to us at breakfast which was very special. Room was clean and comfy. We also had a stone massage at the spa and that was excellent.

Its a magnificent hotel, one of the best stays i have had. It was made special thanks to Mrs Uyen’s assistance and professionalism. Everything was perfect, the dining / breakfast staff were super attentive and professional as well. The room was beautiful, with amazing views and to top it off the roof infinity pool and steam room. It is a one of a kind hotel made even more special by the professionals working there. Thank you Cảm ơn
