Gorgeous hotel in a great setting. Beautifully designed rooms and common spaces. Great value in terms of comfort. Stunning views from all the rooms. Lots of options for lounging outdoors or in the room, and a nice quiet beach right next to the hotel. We loved the furnishings, tile, and art.

Amazing views of the bay from Cat Ba island. A beautiful hotel, great breakfast. Beach was clean, nice walk around the headland.

The hotel is stunning, beautiful hotel and incredible location. The staff were very helpful in arranging transfers and tours.

The hotel restaurant and bars were expensive, also adding service & tax on top of prices. There is a lot of development underway in Cat Ba, whilst this didn’t affect our stay or the hotel, the town was probably not as nice as it once was.

We recently stayed at this hotel with our two young kids (3 and 1 years old), and despite the challenges of traveling with little ones, this place was fantastic. The hotel was incredibly clean and had a charming, cute atmosphere. The staff were also amazing—very friendly and helpful, with most of them speaking English, which made everything so much easier. The beach was a bit disappointing as it was quite dirty, but the swimming pools more than made up for it—they were awesome! The views from the hotel were stunning, and we really enjoyed the food. The breakfast buffet was especially great, with plenty of delicious options to start the day. One thing that was a bit concerning was the hotel-arranged driver to take us back to Hanoi airport. Unfortunately, the experience was awful. The driver didn’t speak any English, and we were genuinely scared as he kept falling asleep at the wheel. It was a very unnerving experience, and I would expect the hotel to organise a more professional driver, at the very least one with a basic level of English. Overall, though, we had a great stay, and the hotel was lovely but I’d suggest organizing transport independently next time.

The staff was extremely helpful, the facilities are tremendous. Breakfast was really good as well.

The food could improve in terms of flavour, especially at the price it costs and housekeeping could bang at the guest's doors super early in the morning. We could hear them shouting out “ housekeeping” before 9 am.
