McLaren House Seahouses

We stayed in apartment 6 and had a beautiful view at the end of the street. We watched a stunning sunset from the window there and the bedroom window. The location is excellent. Next to the harbour, shops, restaurants and the boat trips to the Farne islands. We were very happy and would stay there again The parking permit is a real bonus and communication with the owners was excellent. We would stay here again next time we are in the area.

Hand soap would have been nice.

Very large jacuzzi bath with shower overhead and teeny tiny sink it was ok but odd. We stayed in No1, it has no view. Previously stayed in No 6 has a lovely view. The bed was quite short, not sure it is a full length double.

This is a lovely apartment in a good location close to seafront, shops etc. Although the lounge room space is fairly small, we appreciated that there were two lounges (we were 3 adults) as many apartments have insufficient furniture for number of people. The kitchen facilities were good and we were able to cook some great meals using fantastic local produce and seafood. The apartment was very clean and had good quality bedlinen, beds and nice decorative touches. Having a local parking space just across the road was really helpful. This is a place that is well cared for and well managed.

There was an instruction book with lots of info but we still needed to google the oven type for the instructions as there was some assumed knowledge in the provided info. Suggest to provide more than one rubbish bag for a stay, this was inadequate and we don't normally need to buy rubbish bags for our accommodation.

Clean, spacious, light and airy. Very comfortable, especially bedroom. Great location, central and quiet.

Bit small. Didn’t like bathroom downstairs from the bedroom.

Location was excellent - right in the centre of Seahouses, close to the harbour and to bars and shops. Parking was convenient. The property was spacious with plenty room for four people.

Nothing we didn’t like but it might have been nice if a few things had been provided such as soap, dishwasher tablets, extra bin bags just to save going out to buy them.

The location is good just off the front and very close to everything
