a complimentary shuttle could have been provided from the main town on arrival and departure days, very hard to get to unless you have your own car (don't get me started on the niseko united shuttles as they were over-crowded and had to bypass a few ~extra 2 hrs to get there from hirifu)

`The staff was amazing!!! They were able to help answer any questions and help with the little details like ordering delivery pizza and helping us get a ride to our bus stop to go back to Sapporo. Also the vibe of the lodge is excellent with travelers helping out other travelers with advice

Wish I had known that food options were difficult. Restaurants were not close and because of the season, were quite busy. Recommend getting some light groceries in town. I did like the ability to buy drinks and dry noodle bowls at the lodge

It was our first time to Niseko, so I didn't know much about the location, and I couldn't tell much about it from Google Maps. It is not a convenient location if you do not drive, and to be fair, the property did recommend that I hire a car. That said, it worked out for us, except on the first night when we arrived, and there was nothing to eat. This was all my fault as I failed to read the message from the lodge to bring my own supplies as there are no restaurants around, and the closest one to us closed at 4 pm. We enjoyed our stay there. The facilities were good. The rooms were simple but really cosy and clean. And to be honest, after a full day on the ski slopes, all you want is a nice hot bath and a comfortable and clean bed. I would go back again now that I am more familiar with the location and know how to navigate around.
