Liked the room although the floor was very cold and it was hard to heat the room. Beds were comfortable. It was very clean and a good location.

The check-in was a complete pain in the neck. I had already checked-in using the booking site and then I had to do it remotely again. We had to wait in the parking lot for a while before we could get in.

Firelight Lodge is the kind of place that makes you instantly slow down and actually soak in the moment. We loved how perfectly located it was, so close to cute shops and restaurants, and literally just steps away from Lake Tahoe which made popping out for walks and exploring so easy. The space itself was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and so inviting, and the fireplace was such a cute, cozy touch that made the whole stay feel extra special. Mornings were calm and dreamy, nights were quiet and cozy, and the overall energy was exactly what we needed. The rooms are cold and noisy as they are on a main Road. The heating is bad and we were freezing in the room with no one to help. The text based reception is annoying with no one to assist in the middle of the night if something break!
