Firelite Lodge

Well furnished room with exquisite views of the lake. Far from the chain hotels where the rooms are noisy and always too hot, this property was quiet (but almost full) and the room at a good temperature to sleep without the need for AC. The room had a gas fireplace if heat was needed. Plenty of parking spaces. We had a good quality night of sleep and that’s what matters the most to me.

Exceptionally clean. Self check-in and out super efficient. And even though you never met any staff, the text messages made me feel welcome anyway.

The room was a bit chilly for me. The knob on the wall to set “comfort” didn’t seem to raise temperature up.

There was no hot water upon my arrival. I did not have hot water for hours after my arrival. Hours later with no hot water, I reached out to check on progress and they were rude like I was bothering them asking about hot water. At one point in the evening I was undressed in bed and staff unlocked my door with their own keys, opened my door and barged in without knocking or asking if they could enter. I was in my underwear, in bed, and they just walked in. I was shocked and they just said they were coming in to check if the hot water was back on. I paid for 2 rooms, neither room had hot water. Other guests were complaining of also not having hot water. I'm still shocked that they just opened the door and let themselves into my room with their own keys, while I was undressed in bed. I can't believe they didn't knock and ask if it was okay to enter. A huge safety concern on top of no hot water. The hot water was eventually turned on late that evening.

Great price, nice location - the bed was very comfortable and the room was already warmed up when we checked in. Check in process was easy

Great view of the lake from the third floor. The room was comfortable with accessories and the sheets and linens were top rated. Very comfortable!

Room was very large and clean with excellent view of the lake.

Place outside a bit run down. The stopper in the bathroom sink didn't work.

Good location. Nice little fridge & microwave. Clean beds and fireplace warmer.

Communication with property manager should have been better. There is NO person on the property. All communication was remote with someone off property, which was OK once we knew this was the procedure. When trying to check in, this created a lot of confusion at first.
