"Accomadation was disappointing however Kaikoura is a great place"

I mistakenly booked a 2 room unit for a one night stay on the wrong night through Booking.com. Rang immediately to see if we could change the day to the next day and spoke to (Bernie whom I'm assuming was the owner). He was quite rude on the phone and said because you booked with booking.com and not directly through the accommodation, I would have to change it with them. Applied to modify booking and was denied. I then emailed accommodation offering to pay an extra $50 and they still wouldn't budget on changing to next day. Expensive mistake made and no empathy from Bernie whatsoever!!! Wouldn't recommend!!

"Good spot in Kaikōura"

It’s not a large place which is nice, and the view to the water from the top floor room is great. The apartment is roomy and has all the amenities you need. Easy drive to CBD for shops and restaurants

No heat in the bedrooms

WAS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO STAY. COMFORTABLE BEDS AND CLOSE TO RESTAURANTS AND SHOPS. MANAGERS WERE GREAT.
