I had a great breakfast experience at Happy Rhino Hotel. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and offered a good variety to suit different tastes. I especially appreciated how everything was neatly presented and replenished regularly. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a perfect start to the day. Staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured guests were comfortable throughout the meal. Overall, it’s a solid breakfast offering—good quality, good service, and a pleasant environment. I recently stayed at the Cape Diamond Hotel and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel is well located, making it easy to get around Cape Town, and the rooms were neat and comfortable with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I had a wonderful stay at Cape Diamond Boutique Hotel. One of the absolute highlights was the breathtaking city views. Whether you’re in your room or up on the rooftop, you’re treated to stunning sights of Cape Town’s skyline, with iconic views stretching across the City Bowl and towards Table Mountain. The rooftop area in particular is something special – it’s the perfect place to unwind, take photos, or just soak in the beauty of the city, especially at sunset. The views truly give you that “Cape Town experience” and make the stay feel memorable. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort with amazing city scenery, this is definitely a great choice.

I recently stayed at Cape Diamond Hotel and had such a pleasant experience. The hospitality really stood out — every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The room was neat, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a stress-free stay. Housekeeping kept everything spotless, which I really appreciated. It felt like a home away from home. What I loved most was the central location, making it easy to access shops, restaurants, and transport without any hassle. Overall, a great stay with excellent service. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again!

Closeness to the city centre. Reception ambiance. Clean inside the rooms.

Some drain smell in the passage. The pool is very small and congested. I suggest instead of being a pool change it to Jacuzzi. It would be nice.

Perfect location if you need to be close to City Hall, CTICC. Secure parking is available (extra payment) which makes it so much easier. Our room was clean, comfy bed, and had a nice balcony which was good, my husband is a smoker. The room size is good if you only travel with hand luggage (no cupboard or space for big luggage), and we were surprised how quiet it was - no hustle & bustle from the city They have a roof top bar, spa and a small pool - lovely for a sundowner and enjoying the view over CT and Table Mountain.

The bathroom door is just a sliding door - it's a sight but definitely not a sound protector. If you are in company of your hubby it might be ok but not if you travel with a friend ;) The bathroom has at least a normal sized shower but the rest is so tiny, you don't even have a board for your toiletry. But, for a 1-2 night stay it is ok Unfortunately the cleanliness of the breakfast area needs improvement. Tables are not cleaned and set up for next guests, buffet is very limited, not worth 150R per person (rather go for a proper breakfast in one of the nearby cafes)
