The Oliver Hotel

Loved The Oliver Hotel. Great service and most comfortable, clean rooms. Special shout out to Chris at the front desk.....he went above and beyond the call of customer service. Location is great....located right next to the Market area of downtown Knoxville which is filled with shops and restaurants. On Saturday, the Market area hosts a Farmers' Market, which just added to a wonderful stay. Next time we are in Knoxville, we will make our way back to The Oliver.

My experience at the hotel was exceptional from start to finish. Chris Dunbar truly stood out for his professionalism, knowledge, attentiveness, and great sense of humor. Communication with the front desk was seamless, especially through text, and Chris was always quick to respond and eager to help. He played a huge role in making our stay so enjoyable that we are already planning our next trip back. The hotel’s location is ideal, situated right in the heart of the area and within walking distance of most attractions and restaurants. One of the unexpected highlights was the hotel’s signature toiletries — the soap, lotion, conditioner, and shampoo all smelled incredible. I honestly wish I had purchased some to bring home. The beds were extremely comfortable, the rooms were spotless and fresh-smelling, and every aspect of the stay exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel over any other in the area. I truly do not have a single negative thing to say about the experience.

The location in downtown Knoxville is perfect at this luxury boutique property. The historic building is beautifully maintained and the guest rooms are generously sized. The staff makes any stay feel like you’re home. Let them park your car on arrival and enjoy everything downtown by walking around.

Our first time visiting this hotel. The hotel was very clean and well appointed. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Be sure to visit the Speakeasy! We will definitely be back!

Everything about this hotel is phenomenal. The staff, location, decor, food...I could on and on. Don't miss out on this place if you are looking for a hotel in downtown Knoxville.

Fantastic location-right off the square! Very walkable to all restaurants and shops! Front desk staff was incredible! Friendly and so accommodating! Will definitely stay again next time we are in Knoxville!

We loved The Oliver Hotel in the heart of Knoxville's Market Square. Had a lovely dinner with friends and was there for a University Sporting event. The staff are so helpful and with all going on in the world they made us feel like we were at home and on vacation. We had a delightful twilight Ghost tour, learning some of the history of the town through some interesting stories! Hope to be back again next year!

Highly recommend! The hotel is oozing with character. It’s meticulously clean and very comfortable. The front desk staff were kind and friendly. Had lovely cocktails and appetizers in the restaurant as well.

Front desk is very helpful! This was our second visit and hoping to plan the next one soon! The attention to detail is incredible. We also love the restaurant, I had the double bone in pork chop and it was delicious!

The Oliver Hotel is a boutique hotel on the corner of Market Square. It has the added benefit of having one of the best restaurants in Knoxville (Oliver Royale) and one of coziest places to have a drink (Kern Library) in the same building. We go there several times each year. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
