Relaxing Guesthouse - Sónias Houses

Bathroom, kitchen equipped with nespresso machine and plenty cups, comfortable bed, quite neighborhood, streetparking for the car

Same level to street, not close to Lisbon centre, perhaps a second chair

We were not sent check in instructions and on arrival just told to go round the back. When asked are you coming to let us in the response was a curt No. The accommodation was damp with evidence of black mold. We also had an ant infestation and the owner tried to blame us (stating we had food in the bedroom - we are out all the time). This is the WORST accommodation I have stayed in. I have complained to Bookingcom providing photos and video. Having read much further back at reviews I can see the owner is very hostile in their responses. I understand they will not engage with Bookingcom about my complaint.

Location is good, very close to train station and buses.

High humidity, really you have to keep Sonia's suggestion, to ventilate the room as much as possible and use humidity absorber.

The location is ok. Kitchen is very basic but has everything you need for a short stay.

Besides the place being damp and moldy the biggest issue was the owner who also lives in the house. During our stay she was arguing and fighting with her son in the middle of the night. It nearly ruined our vacations.

Not much, besides that the place is close to train station Benfica. Shared kitchen is clean and handy.

Room is in the basement and just too humid and cold. Mattress is saggy. Not enough blankets to keep you warm at night. Took a century before hot water came out of the shower. Very expensive for it's value
