Communication with staff, very calm location.

There was a mold in the room and bathroom.

Clean and solidly furnished one-room basement apartment with shared kitchen (we didn't have roommates at the time). The owner gave proper instructions for moving in and using everything. Suitable for a short stay.

An unbearable smell of damp spreads in the well-furnished apartment. Ventilation does not help. It is very annoying that there are sheets and other linen hanging from the upper floor covering the only window, which also causes additional humidity. The outdoor area with two deckchairs and the mini garden are not arranged and suitable for sitting in company with hanging rags.

Sónia is a great host, everything was great.

Lots of free parking spaces available next to the guesthouse, located only 5 minutes walking distance from the train station Benfica, which is only 2 trains stops fromstation Rossio city center of Lisbon.

Very basic room with a bathroom and direct access to a kitchen with a shared fridge, all located in the basement of a house, which probably used to be a garage before. The bed base was not flat and the matrass of low quality. Although it is called a "suite", it is just a basic room with a bathroom inside.

Definition of Suite: A living room connected to one or more bedrooms. (A room with one or more bedrooms and a separate living space). The area of ​​the Suite rooms is usually between 70 m² and 100 m². For Mini Suite or Junior Suite: Single room with bed and relaxation area. Sometimes the sleeping area is in a bedroom, separated from the living room or living room. Junior Junior rooms are usually between 60 m² and 80 m² in size. Guests of Sonia's Houses must know English or Portuguese and must have WhatsApp to receive directions on how to enter the "suite". Guests should not expect someone to say "Welcome!" because the hostess will not appear. Instead, they will receive a dubious link via WhatsApp, through which they must pay the city fee online. The so-called "suite" is a 12 sq.m. room with a private bathroom. All this is 1 meter underground like a cellar. Together with another such "suite" a vestibule with kitchen equipment is shared.

The humidity as it was in a converted basement garage. The sheets were marked and there was no mattress cover.

I liked that this place ended up just basically being an apartment for me and my boyfriend since the other room wasn’t booked at all during our stay. And it’s out of the city so it’s not very hectic. The neighborhood it’s in feels safe once you actually go out and explore. But it’s definitely a suburb. Laundry services are super close, easy to use, and not very expensive. The bathroom is super awesome and that shower is made of my dreams!!! ALSO… BIG PLUS… the A/C is flipping awesome and it can get that place almost too cold if you let it.

The smell when you walk in is pretty overwhelming. I got used to it so I didn’t even notice it by the end of our stay. It’s also pretty noisy around the place until midnight. There’s a dog next door (that I really loved honestly) but they would bark off and on and were let out in the backyard until midnight the nights we stayed. If you are out late though it’s not a big deal. The last thing that was not very great is the location is pretty far out of the city. We had the opportunity to go nap in the middle of the day if it was too hot or we were doing too much, but we didn’t feel we really could here because it takes about 40 min to get anywhere good in the city.

The room was very clean and the place was located in a quiet area. The train station and food shops were near by. Overall a great stay and value for money.
