Meublé il Riccio

Der Aufenthalt, Gastfreundschaft, Personal alles war wunderbar. Das einzige was noch ausbaufähig wäre, wäre das Frühstück. Zum Beispiel mehr Brot, evt. verschiedenes auch mit Korn, weiss aber nicht ob es dies in Italien überhaupt gibt? Dafür weniger Kuchen und Süsses!

The location was perfect. It was also very easy to reach by car and they had reserved parking available in a city parking lot. The room was impressive.

We stayed at Il Riccio last month for four nights. It’s a lovely hotel with a friendly staff. We were greeted by Gio, the owner, who escorted us to room 32. It’s beautiful, and the balcony has a panoramic view. The mosaic in the courtyard was the site of the family chapel. The bed was comfortable, and we slept so well. We ate breakfast at the hotel each morning. The cappuccinos and macchiato’s were delicious, as were the apricot croissants. The hotel is in the city center, which makes it very accessible to many of the Montepulciano sights. Be prepared to walk up and down a lot of hills! We highly recommend Il Riccio; you won’t be disappointed.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. I didn't want to leave. I had a breathtaking view of the valley, sunrises included. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast couldn't have been better. It is at the top of the town, steps from the Piazza Grande, so everything you want to see is within walking distance. Montepulciano is easy to get lost in, but that's part of the fun. I was in Corsica and Italy for six weeks, and this was my favorite place of all.

Absolutely everything about this beautiful place 😍 The view from our suite was out of this world 🌎 spectacular ✨️ We loved the breakfast and the large size room, too.

The hair dryer was slow, and the tea bags/sugar weren't refilled daily. Besides that it was perfect.

The hotel location is just around the corner of piazza Grande. The hotel is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The owner Gio even shows my hubby to the room which can took the fabulous photos! Montepulciano is a medieval hilltop town, so it’s hilly but the views are stunning! This family run hotel preserved the charms of this magical place and its beauty; therefore shouldn’t be missed. There are lot of restaurants around, and if you are not sure where to eat, the staff can help to recommend some to you! After two nights stay, we love it very much and will be back!
