Very friendly staff, feel like being at home. Lovely breakfast and cake always available in the lounge during the day. Very good location too.

백년이상된 건물을 예쁘게 꾸며서 포르투갈의 어느 저택에 머무는 느낌이 들어 낭만적이었어요. 아침 식사도 맛있었는데 특히 오랜지 주스가 일품이었어요.

3층의 넓은 방을 사용했는데 창문 중 하나에 커튼이 없어 가까운 옆집 발코니에서 바로 들여다 보이는 점이 아쉬웠어요. 하지만 체크아웃때 말씀드렸으니 아마도 커튼을 달아주실 것 같아요. 반대편 창문으로 보이는 리스본 풍경은 너무 예뻤어요.

Casa Balthazar is a true urban oasis. The location on a quiet street is just the beginning. The beautifully designed rooms throughout the house, the pool, the preserved historic architecture, the spacious and incredibly clean rooms, as well as the spa facilities make for the most relaxing stay. Breakfast is wonderful! The staff at Casa Balthazar are so welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to handle a critical laundry need for us, alleviating a substantial source of stress from our trip. We had action packed days, and it was so relaxing to return to Casa Balthazar for an afternoon coffee, slice of cake, dip in the pool, or rest in our spacious room. The bed was extremely comfortable and air conditioning was exceptional. Thank you to the wonderful team at Casa Balthazar!

- außerordentlich freundliches Personal - beste Lage - Parkplatz - tolles Frühstück - toller Spa Bereich - klein und daher exklusiv - Kaffee und Tee kann man den ganzen Tag im Wohnzimmer genießen

- unsere Matratzen waren etwas durchgelegen - im Bad wird es nicht sehr warm (erst wenn die Dusche an ist, erhitzt sich der Raum), morgens war es trotz elektrischer Heizung etwas kalt

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well maintained. Convenient location on a quiet street with many places to see within walking distance albeit with many steps. Nice change from large chain hotels.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Balthazar. It was a perfect hotel for our first trip to Portugal. The staff were very kind and responsive, both before and during our stay. The hotel feels like a home, with lots of thoughtful touches like free cake and an honor bar. It is an oasis of calm and quiet in a busy city. Breakfast was fantastic, and the pastries were standouts. The croissants were as good or better than ones we’ve had in Paris. We stayed in the apartment, which was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the city. The bed was a dream and we had no outside noise at all. The location is excellent - right next to the Rossio train station and easy access to key points of interest. We would not hesitate to return to Casa Balthazar.
