Tolle Lage, auch wenn man einige Treppen und Höhenunterschied überwinden muss. Sehr schönes Hotel. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Probleme mit der Klimaanlage wurden auch am Abend gelöst. Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Kuchen am Nachmittag und Kaffee dazu. Macht Laune.

Nichts, außer das Zimmer war etwas zu dunkel. Ist aber im Sommer wahrscheinlich "Gold wert ".

Our stay here was perfect . . . beautifully appointed room and common areas, delicious breakfast buffet, quiet location in the heart of Lisbon's historic district and within walking distance of so many attractions. Quiet indoor courtyard with pool. A rare gem that will guarantee a memorable stay in Lisbon.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Largest beautiful rooms. Attentive and kind staff. Quiet at night. Delicious breakfast. We stayed 5 nights and every day we would say “I can’t believe we get to stay here”!

Casa Balthazar is terrific. We enjoyed the location (close to lots of shops and restaurants), the quality of the hotel and the rooms as well as the service. Ruth (and the entire staff) was terrific. We would highly recommend staying here.

Loved the location of Casa Balthazar. Breakfast was lovely. We stayed there twice. The second time we were in the "Cottage" which was a suite and gave us a lot of room. Loved it.

We had two different experiences in asking them to call a cab. 1)They called a metered cab which was terrific and cost effective. 2) They wanted to book us a 50 Euro cab to the airport. Just book through Booking for 15-17 Euros.
