Aphrodite House

Die Unterkunft war sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet (inklusive kleiner Aufmerksamkeiten). Die Gastgeber waren immer bemüht, sich um unsere Anliegen zu kümmern / schnell zu antworten und haben die Unterkunft auch zwischendurch gereinigt. Das Apartment hat eine top Lage mitten in Chania und die Dachterrasse war super!

Das Apartment hat recht steile Stufen, das sollte bei einem Aufenthalt beachtet werden - hat uns persönlich aber nicht gestört.

Η τοποθεσία του καταλύματος ήταν πάρα πολύ βολική, σε πολύ όμορφο, κεντρικό σημείο της παλιάς πόλης. Ήταν καθαρό και μπόρεσε να φιλοξενήσει άνετα 6 άτομα που ήταν η παρέα μας. Η ιδιοκτήτρια, η κυρία Αφροδίτη ήταν πολύ βοηθητική και εξυπηρετική και η επικοινωνία μαζί της ήταν πολύ εύκολη και άμεση.

Οι όροφοι ήταν 3, οπότε τα άτομα που έμεναν πάνω έπρεπε συνέχεια να ανεβοκατεβαίνουν από τις σκάλες. Το μπάνιο είναι ένα, οπότε ίσως να μην είναι τόσο βολικό για πολύ μεγάλες παρέες.

We were lucky to stay at Aphrodite House during our trip to Chania, and it truly made our stay special. The house is full of charm and perfectly located in the heart of the Old Town. Everything you need — supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and bars — is just around the corner, yet the neighborhood still feels peaceful and authentic. One of the highlights is the beautiful rooftop terrace — a perfect spot to relax with a morning coffee or enjoy the evening atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped, and with separate air conditioning units in each bedroom and in the living room, everyone can enjoy their preferred temperature — a big plus during the warm summer days. The service was also excellent. The owner was very friendly and responsive, available for questions and assistance both before and during our stay, which made everything feel smooth and welcoming. We had a fantastic stay and would happily return!

It was very central area in Chania. Where there is lot of restaurants and shops around and 2 minutes away from lovely harbor.

The best host you can and a charming apartment in Chania old town and with lots of amenities.

It wasn't a problem in my trip (for me it's part of apartments charm) but if you're not confortable with stairs or have heavy luggages the steep stairs might be a problem.
