Es war die teuerste Unterkunft in Südafrika. Wir werden nicht noch mal kommen.

"Idealer Ausgangspunkt"

Für eine Nacht völlig in Ordnung. Die Lage ist sehr gut – mitten im De Hoop Nature Reserve und ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Viele Vögel, wunderbar zu beobachten. Unterkunft war sauber und ordentlich.

"Een rustige, luxueuze haven in een prachtig natuurgebied"

De fantastische locatie temidden een wondermooi natuurgebied met duinen, fynbos en wildlife, maar ook de charme van het historische huisje met zicht op de vallei…

Het is goed om weten dat het een eindje rijden is naar de locatie, op een straat met gravel vanaf ke de N2 verlaat. Is zeker doenbaar met een gewone auto, maar reken op 40-50km / uur qua snelheid op dit stuk straat (dat wel door mooie heuvels loopt en de rit wordt beloond!). Personeel ook heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

"A very different experience from the rest of our touring holiday."

The food for both dinner and continental breakfast was very good. Plenty to eat as always. The location made a good change from the seaside towns. The bird viewing was good.

The baboons were intrusive to the extent that we were told to keep all windows and doors shut all day and night, whether we were there or not, so the cottage got very hot inside. A large troop came round our cottage at 7.30 in the morning which was quite scary.
