OYO Plymouth Central Hotel

The hotel was very noisy throughout, with loud conversations, commotion, and frequent movement of people around the building. The hotel houses council tenants as its main source of income, ignoring the needs of other guests. The corridors smelled bad, and the room itself smelled of smoke. There was only one high window that did not open. On a not-very-hot day the room was already uncomfortable before using it. The room was advertised with AC mentioned explicitly on the photos; the unit was not yet wired in though. This hotel would be a reasonable budget option for those willing to sacrifice comfort for privacy. But we felt the room was unacceptable and misleadingly advertised.

Hard to find, room by lift didn't get a good night sleep

Nothing, a terrible experience and the fact it was stated parking was available but wasn't created problems and increased costs. Staff have a "don't care" attitude.

Everything, no temperature control to room, dirty with stained walks, cracked sink, breakfast was almost a joke, apart from a big room with an odd smell the hotel is severely overrated!

The hotel was conveniently placed in the centre of Plymouth but I almost missed it as the entrance is just one door. The room was excellent as was the bed and facilities. I had an accessible room and the only fault was that I could not reach the rail in the wardrobe but they have promised me that this will be rectified as soon as I pointed it out. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast room was very hot and they could do with a couple more fans in there but the inclusive continental breakfast was perfectly adequate. No fancy bar or reception but perfect for what I needed. A little overpriced for what it was but I will stay again. Thank you
