Love of Lugano

The location of the apartment is excellent and the flat is truly comfortable and clean. We stayed there for 5nights and had issues with wifi connection and the stove. The wifi got fixed on the 2nd day after calling and emailing the office and the stove also stopped working. They sent someone to check the stove and since it didn't get fixed they gave us a portable stove so we were able to cook for our little one. If we ever visit the city again we will for sure stay at this place again. Thank you to Dave and the team to help us sort the technical issues.

Three of us stayed here in Sept 2023. This was a really nice apartment near the centre of Lugano. The instructions for getting into the apartment were a bit unclear but in the end it was quite easy to access it. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was not working but this was resolved very promptly the next day by the local team. The apartment is very modern and clean and a short walk from the centre. We arrived by train on Sunday evening and took a short bus ride which stopped very near to the apartment which was very convenient. We also took the bus back again when we left. Unfortunately, the only shop that was open on Sunday evening was right next to the station, so I had to go all the way back there again to get some provisions. The on-site team in the office nearby were very helpful and allowed me to print out our train tickets before we left. I'd recommend this as a place to stay in Lugano. By the way, there is no lake view from this apartment- unless you have a telescope!

The 4 days stay was NOT a pleasant experience. We’ve booked dozens of accommodation with Booking.com and this one rates as the worst.

The location was noisy, near a busy intersection, above a restaurant and opposite a childrens playground. Impossible to open doors and windows for the noise. The apartment was advertised as having a lake view…..IT DOESNT ( false and misleading advertising) There was no tv remote so couldn’t watch television. No instructions how to operate aircon Bathroom vanity sink was blocked & therefore unhygenic Freezer unit in fridge was so packed with ice , one couldn’t open the drawers. The unit was spartan as to providing no facilities. The lounge was so uncomfortable , sitting on a brick wall would have been more comfortable. Overall the apartment rates as a 2 star stay…..and is grossly overpriced for what it provides My issues were reported by email to HAPPY RENTALS and a hand written note left at Lugano office ….no response.

Location and cleanliness

Excellent help from the rental office. Apartment very clean and up to date. WiFi did not cost anything and worked well. Washing machine and dryer were greatly appreciated. Rental officer gave us laundry soap gratis. Thank you. Location in center of old town, close to the lake and the large city park.

Nothing. Everything was excellent and the few concerns we had were quickly rectified by the rental agency.

Great location. Nice, spacious apartment with good amenities. If you have meetings at the Congress Center, it is ideal. only 2 minutes to the lakeside and the park. We loved our breakfast, we prepared ourselves.

It is a bummer that they don't provide a second key. We are a couple, not Siamese twins.

We liked this property a lot. It was fairly clean, had all of the amenities we needed and the location was great. The only issue is checking in. This could have been more convenient. Instead of checking in at the property, you have to walk about 4-5 blocks to get to the office to get the key. This can be hard, especially when you are tired, have luggage and the weather is extremely hot. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Centrally located spacious apartment for max 4 people. 100m from the lake, fully equipped and modern, instant responses when problems.
