Other clients are a bit noisy

It is in a very good position to visit the famous gardens of Souzho. The lady at the reception can speak good english and is very helpful.

Wifi connection is very low…

I like everything about this hostel, and felt very welcome by Claire (Zhangxuan). She was the nicest and most helpful person I came across in my travels in China. We had great conversations, very enriching for my Chinese experience. I booked a single room which was clean and comfortable, great bed, I slept very well. The location is also easy to find and perfect to explore Suzhou. I had great breakfast there too. I would definitely come back and recommend it. Also love the sweet dog, Kali.

It's a very accessible location, near the train station, and a walkable distance to Pingjiang St. - it's also near to local food shops. Rooms are on the third floor, quite near to toilets and showers. They provide slippers, hangers etc. There's a friendly dog waiting for you in the lobby ; she's an excellent staff, helping show us to our room! (Beware for those averse to dogs however.)

Though they provide hangers, there aren't many places to hang from in the room itself.

The location of the hostel is close to the metro and the city center.

The toilets are not very clean, and there are no personal hygiene items (like toilet paper).

Stairs to get to the 2nd floor with heavy luggage. Bathroom was in open air. During winter, it is really cold when you get out of the shower so not great. Thin bed so not so comfortable.

Location and the decorations

Lack of people but it was fine as I was out all day.

The lovation is perfect. The owner’s dog is wonderful. I felt very comfortable there.

The female dorm was a little chilly (in the coldest minggu of winter) but I chose the bunk by the AC Unit and I was very warm.

Everything was perfect as usual. Claire is the kindest person in Suzhou. I highly recommend her hostel. The breakfast is good, and the rooms are comfy.
