Gioan Boutique Villa

Great location just far enough away from the madness of old town. About 10-15 mins walk. Very good price. Nice little pool and the host was a laugh and very helpful

Rooms were not as cool as I'd like even with AC on but you can get around that with the old business card in the key slot trick while you're out.

Nice property very close from the old quarters but hidden away in a quiet street. We liked it better to stay in the less touristy area. They offer hotel standards but with the vibe of a homestay. The family was very sweet, always ready to answer our queries and was also very funny. They organised transport for us from and to Da Nang at a good price, and offered to keep our big luggage when we were away visiting visiting the island for two days.

This was my first time solo travelling in my life from North to South Vietnam. During my trip this was by far my favourite Homestay / Villa for so many reasons. First off the room was very clean, comfortable, quiet, peaceful and in an amazing location. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Old Town which is perfect because you are outside of the noise but can easily access the major attractions. Gioan Boutique is also so safe and secure which makes you feel comfortable. There is a locked fence before getting into the property and each room is secure. Travelling solo I often was worried about leaving my stuff behind when I went out but not here. On top of the amazing accommodation both Vina and Ho who run the villa / homestay are the most amazing people in the world. They are so friendly, make you laugh, smile and feel like you are part of their family. They know the best activities to do in Hoi An and even run their own cooking class here at the Villa which has delicious food. Everyone who I saw that stayed here was so happy to come back to the villa after spending time visiting all that Hoi An has to offer. You can also rent a bike or scooter directly from the villa and they do your laundry and clean your room for you. This place is 10/10 and I ended up extending my stay by 4 nights here because I liked it so much ☺️!

Hosts were amazing. Spoke good English. Ho met us with a huge smile. He provided information of local restaurants, as we wanted veggie and vegan options Couldn’t do enough for us. They organised tours and train tickets. Everything was very clean. Couldn’t fault anything. It is located in a quiet street away from the hussle and bustle, but close enough to walk to the old town. Would highly recommend this place to anyone

Staff is amazing and friendly. Always willing to go above and beyond to help you with anything. Great location away from noise and traffic but still walking distance to Hoi An ancient town. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Location, perfectly on the edge of old town. Could walk everywhere. Staff - Vina and Ho were absolutely amazing, our kids loved them. Mr Ho even took our boys to play in is weekly game of football. We did the cooking class which was well worth it! Rooms were spacious and very clean. Comfortable beds and good shower.

Vina is a little superstar! Cleanliness is on point, beds are massive and very comfortable, its safe, secure and immaculately kept. Arrive as travellers and leave as friends. I would highly recommend the cooking classes, so joyous if only for entertainment value, Vina is a joy and its a great social mix of people!

Only one night we were on the upper floor and had a constant noise of the washing machine (we think). Vina was very quick to respond and ty to sort issue however it wasnt the most peaceful nights sleep 😩
