Gioan Boutique Villa

Lovely small hotel minutes from the old town. Comfy beds and pillows! AC worked well and high pressure shower! Vina and the entire staff team were super friendly and helpful. They can even book your activities and all at a good price. Everyday they gave us a few extra water bottles!

The service for this property is second tonight some of the best we have experienced anywhere in the world. And the team are excellent communicators and made everything about our stay smooth. The rooms are spacious and clean with the most comfortable pillows you could imagine. The pool area is lovely and refreshing and we spent quite a bit of time in there. We highly recommend doing the cooking course. The food is restaurant quality and it’s very exciting to think that you could replicate this yourself. Would highly recommend this villa for families.

Vina and Ho who run and work at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. This included booking tours and taxis for us, recommending tailors etc... We were also upgraded to 2 separate rooms rather than a family room at no extra cost (but also offered the family room if we preferred... I'm glad they did as we much preferred the 2 separate rooms next door to each other). The swimming pool was great to have, and was always very quiet. Myself and my daughter also did the cooking class with Vina (and market trip with Ho) I would highly recommend this. Really informative, lots of fun, some of the best food we ate, and my younger sons and husband were popping in and out, swimming in the pool next to us, and joined us to eat it all. I'd also recommend breakfast. You order the night before from a menu. It was really reasonably priced and freshly made. We highly recommend the Vietnamese pancakes! We really found this hotel good value for money.

This is a very reasonably priced hotel for Hoi an.... The rooms aren't fancy and the bathrooms smaller (one an oddish layout) but I think this is reflected in the price. The location is a tad outside of hoi an old town. About 10-15min minutes walk to the edge of the old town. But, it is a lovely quiet street, we managed to do everything we wanted by foot, and had we wanted to we could have easily got a taxi/ grab taxi, but we never felt the need to (even with a 6 year old in tow).

This was the second time visiting Gioan Villa and it was even more fabulous than I remember. Last year I came with two friends for a couple days and this time I was solo, working remotely for two weeks. The hosts run a cooking school which is really worth paratking in. I participated twice as they rotate the menus and its really a lot of fun. This place feels like a home away from home. The hosts are so genuinely warm and welcoming....I recommend it highly....FIVE STARS!!!

Cannot recommend this hotel more highly my family (including two teens) stayed in a family room in early April. Very comfortable room with balcony. Staff are amazing with great communication and help with tours and tailors. Pool was fantastic as was the cooking class. About 10 min walkfrom old quarter but Grabs cos about $2 US which was great for us ad my son had a broken foot which the staff were extremely considerate of. Thanks again Viba was awesome.

Good location, clean hotel, good services (activities), The swimming pool was clean. very friendly staff and good English compared to other places. They also provide cooking classes but we had no time to test it.

It was hard drying clothes and towels as there was no balcony.

Everything!! Location, Room, Pool, Staff were amazing and recommend the cooking class too. Cannot recommend this place enough.. loved it!

Only staying 4 days!!! Nothing to dislike
