Peace, quiet in a small town. It was the perfect getaway from the hectic daily life.

Great little fishing town! Friendly people and good restaurant/ Bar across the street! The chef cooked up the flounder that I caught that morning.

Stay was great. Hotel is older but in excellent condition with very nice aesthetic touches. You can fell the warmth of the family owned business. The staff were friendly and very responsive. Free bikes were a very nice special touch. Would stay again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Check in was easy and we enjoyed the complimentary beverage. When we mentioned we were leaving for an event early in the morning (before the coffee and pastries) they offered and brought us a coffeemaker and all the supplies we needed to brew coffee in our room. A very thoughtful and nice touch. The restaurant across the street was excellent! We enjoyed our stay so much and plan to come back another time to do a boat tour and to kayak in the area.

Staff was friendly and helpful. However, the motel seemed to do everything possible to cut costs. Our room 11 had a sliding glass door that was difficult to lock. our room was tiny. It had a frig with microwave on top and a small table and chair, but very little room to walk. No place to put suitcase, no closet, no hairdryer, no counter space in room or bathroom, no hook on bathroom door, no ice machine, small TV. Said partial “sea view”, we only saw parking lot and the office. Difficult for two people to get ready in the morning in such a small space with one mirror in bathroom. Said “welcome drink” which was a choice of one soda , water, or cheap can of beer in a fridge in office. Breakfast was packaged sweet rolls or packaged oatmeal - had to ask for hot water for oatmeal. Coffee in lobby was good, the room was clean. Would not stay there again, mostly because of their deceptive advertising. Not sure how it got such high reviews, unless we just had the worst room in the place. The picture is the best possible view of the room. Room 11

Old-style motel. Bathroom was right out of the 50's. Very weak wifi, unable to use the TV or access internet on our phones. Bathroom floor was sandy, overall not as clean as it should have been.

it is a simple, beautifully maintained motel. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would happily stay there again.

Staff very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about area. Much more pleasant than recent visits to "chain" hotels/ motels recently visited. Would definitely stay here again.

The stay was very comfortable to explore the area and wonderful surroundings during the weekend. Hotel reception is exceptional and very supportive to the guests needs. The place is good for active tourisms - kayak, bicycles, walking, and fishing.
