Wachapreague Inn

The motel was a little dated, but very clean and certainly fine for one night. The gal in the office was a sweetheart! The weather, for a beach area, was abysmal - yet we needed the lengthy deluge, as it's been very dry throughout Virginia. Had the weather been sunny, it would have truly been a lovely spot for a beach weekend.

We only spent one night here but honestly loved the experience. First, check in was easy and the woman at the front desk was so nice, and gave us some great information about the area and local events happening that evening. Our room was very small but exceptionally clean. I honestly have only one negative comment. Our room had a receptacle with no plate over it. A great find for the avid fisherman!!!

Room had a smell, like old stuff, but it was clean. Was just ok for one night. Don't know if all rooms are like that. Convenient location thought. Motel style where you can park right in front of your door.

This is a quaint little motel right next to the water in Wachapreague. Rooms are clean and neat. The staff is great. The views right outside your door are terrific. They have free bikes to ride around town and also are outfitters and can set up fishing, kayaking and boating trips.

Stayed overnight in the beginning of October. Easy to book on Expedia. Amanda at the front desk was friendly and helpful and made sure all of our questions were answered. We loved the location of this place. The room was clean, quaint and cozy and across the street from a good restaurant. A quiet evening followed, with a comfortable bed, making for a good night's sleep. Although the rocket launch from Wallops Island was scrubbed for the evening we were there, had it gone up, this location would have provided an excellent viewing spot. We would stay again if the opportunity ever arose.

Loved the charm and location! The owners and staff were friendly, the service was awesome and our room was clean and decorated nicely! Great communication. Really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend staying here.
