The Woods Inn

We have stayed at the Inn many times. It has gone down hill. The porches are filthy, unstable and falling apart. The room was dirty and just overall unkept. It is a beautiful old building but definitely needs some TLC. I hope the owners are able to get some much needed work done to the structure and some improved housekeeping. We also missed the fine dining. Menu was just not the same.

The bar tender/waitress was excellent!! Enjoyable to talk to!!

The bed was very comfortable. The bar was great and food also really good. So convenient. The staff was so great, down to earth. The best part though was just sitting outside on the water especially for sunset....incredible. So relaxing. It was also great that the paddle board rentals were right next door as well.

Loved this place

Beautiful old inn that has an ideal location on the waterfront. The place was clean and tidy but definitely is a bit tired . The outside could use a good power washing and better maintenance. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Room was pleasant but bed uncomfortable.

The staff was very helpful, but the overall condition of the hotel and dining room needs some serious updating.

The location within Inlet is fantastic - walking distance to everything (i.e., coffee house and bakery). Also, its situation on the lake is lovely for evening drinks or just seating on the shore. The cleanliness of the rooms wasn't ideal - floor was dirty, a couple of dead cockroaches, and the 2nd day we had no hot water. Service wise, the people were lovely. A few issues with the keys (which were new), but ultimately worked out and again with a smile. Dinner on the first night was tough as only one server and a full house, so we opted out as were told 30+ minutes for dinner service. So not that the staff there weren't nice - they were! Just not enough for the occupancy. Hence a mixed review - positives and negatives. Price would lean it towards the negative.

This cozy little gem is a wonderful place!
