Aloft by Marriott Knoxville West

I cannot say enough about my experience at Aloft Knoxville West, and especially about Ben, who turned what could have been one of the hardest moments of my life into one filled with compassion, dignity, and care. I had traveled from Northwest Ohio to Atlanta for the holidays to spend time with friends, navigating my first Christmas without my mother. On Christmas Eve, I became seriously ill with the flu. I stayed in Atlanta until Saturday, determined to make it home, but only managed to drive as far as Knoxville before realizing I simply could not continue. I was exhausted, heartbroken, and physically depleted, so I made a last-minute reservation at Aloft to try to nurse myself back to health. From the moment I arrived, Ben greeted me with warmth and genuine kindness. He didn’t rush the interaction, he made conversation, asked how I was doing, and when I shared that it was my first holiday without my mother, he opened up and shared that he had also lost his mother. In that moment, this was no longer just a hotel check-in. It became a human exchange rooted in empathy, shared grief, and compassion. I also told him I was feeling very unwell, and his response was nothing short of top-tier hospitality. He treated me with patience, care, and sincerity that went far beyond the job description. I checked in not just to a room, but to a space where I felt safe enough to rest, grieve, and begin healing. Over my two-night stay, the Aloft Knoxville West became a place of restoration for me, but it was Ben who made it unforgettable. His kindness met me in one of the most vulnerable moments of my life, and I will never forget that. Thank you, Ben, for seeing me not as a guest, but as a person. Hi, we stayed as a family of four. After a long day on the road Ber checked us in and was super helpful. The entire team was great. We had a bit of an issue with the heater/AC unit but the staff handled it promptly. The rooms were clean and everyone was professional and cheerful.

Stop over in Knoxville on our way to FL. It’s New Years Eve! Jessica gave us great Rex’s for dinner and was overall so kind. She is the best Customer Service we’ve ever encountered at a Marriott property. We recently returned from the Saint Regis in longboat key. Jessica is even better than that.

The atmosphere was just what I needed to relax and break up a long drive. Located just off of I-40, this will be my go-to hotel. The room was clean and all of the staff, particularly Ben, were professional and helpful. Not to mention the cost for one night made this an affordable stop.

This is our second time staying here. We were traveling for the holidays and stayed here Christmas Eve. Jessica at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Jam, who was working the bar, was also very pleasant. The hotel was fairly empty, and it was nice chatting with her while we had a couple of drinks to relax from our road trip.

Jessica at the front desk has awesome people skills. She knows how to articulate herself very well and has good manners. She helped me book my stay at a very nice hotel that I am overly satisfied with. The rooms were clean and in order and breakfast was good as well. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back.

I visited the bar, which is pet friendly and excellent quality. Jam the bartender was friendly and kept our large party happy. Definitely recommend the old fashioneds! Primo stuff. Their wells are also really decent. Ben was also friendly and a great cook. If you’re wanting more than the fast food or Starbucks in the area, it’s worth hopping over here. Their hummus dish has a chili garlic crisp topping (totally stealing that idea), the wings are excellent with a sticky sauce, and they have these chips with a guacamole verde sauce that I’d eat like a soup. Someone in my party also got the frito pie, and they said it was delicious. Jam the bartender and Ben the cook were definitely the highlight of the experience. They make quality drinks / dishes and also make you feel welcomed.

I had a great time at the aloft very friendly staff super clean.and the night life at the bar was amazing can't wait to return in the summer.

Ben and Jessica were helpful and welcoming. The bar is worth visiting. We had trouble keeping the room warm. The bagel for breakfast was so hard I could not eat it, but the oatmeal was great.
