Brass Castle Country House Accommodation

We have stayed numerous times and the breakfast as always was fab.

The bar man game to the reception and said no one had told him we were booked in, Due to Halloween the breakfast was served in a side room but all the juice, fruit was still in the normal area, this caused a lot of awkward moving around. Initially the waitress was still wearing her out door jacket when taking orders, this made us feel very unwelcome.

Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

Lack of parking. Crowded out by a business party so no access to the bar. We were told if we wanted to eat we could have food served in our room. Not that there was space to sit and eat. Bathroom looked tired and needed repairs. Heating was not brilliant. Had an oil radiator on all night to supplement the central heating.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean.

Breakfast was too late for work trips, not sufficient parking

The room was beautiful the staff were lovely down to Earth

Maybes a tad nosey in the billiards room at 11pm

Excellent hotel in quiet country position on the outskirts of Middlesborough. Very comfortable with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Really good cooked breakfast with good coffee (the latter sadly not always being the case in English hotels).

No complaints about the hotel itself. I was working in Middlesborough town centre and rush hour traffic in is slow.

Not what I expected for the cost. More like a bed and breakfast. Would not use again

Didn't realise hot tub was on the terrace for everyone to use and not private

Breakfast staff are bubbly, ready for the day. It's contagious.
