"Crime, filth, and little customer service"

2.0

Yes, it is the least expensive place to stay, but where there are layers of bad, such as inexpensive, cheap, and ghetto, this place would have to clean up a LOT to be considered ghetto. Dog droppings and used needles in the sidewalk, police coming and going like it was a donut shop and the fire alarm going off at LEAST twice a week was common. If you want to feel like you are a guest star in your favorite police crime drama, this is the place for you except no firearms are allowed (with the exception of whoever it was that fired the gun outside on week 3 of our stay) The "Bed" was more of a rollaway bed with horrific stains, a gap under the door that a chihuahua could have walked through, roaches galore, and homeless people walking down off the Pan Am highway to listen at our windows to see if anyone was home. Dumpster divers every day, one or two dumpster fires kept the place hopping, and people setting up camp sites behind the dumpster. Not to mention the domestic violence and paper thin walls. The ONLY good thing about place was the unfortunate maintenance man who worked his brains out every day and was still very friendly and helpful as he could be. The washers and dryers were out of order more than they worked and were often victims of vandalism. The internet was often out and a good connection was like winning the lottery. Vandalism was rampant. We got ONE roll of toilet paper, not per month, PERIOD. Two towels, two washcloths, and nothing else. Everything else was on us to provide. You might get what you pay for, but this wasn't even worth the least expensive. The air conditioner only kind of worked. We begged for our weekly housekeeping and it didn't come until the third month after we had already bought the things we needed to do it ourselves. Housekeeping did show up twice (within two days of each other) at the end of month 3. Told them no thanks we already had it covered, THEN we get a letter on our table saying that housekeeping was mandatory so they can check our room to make sure we're not human traffickers or something. They had let themselves in the place the letter which I'm pretty sure is against the law. When I emailed customer service, the owner (I guess) pulled me to the side when I went into the office and passively threatened me by saying "please let ME know if anything is wrong so I can personally handle it. Otherwise corporate is going to wonder if you really need to be here." I told him that if I HAD been able to get in touch with anyone, I would have, and threats weren't necessary as I'm sure we weren't supposed to be there. He then went on to make million excuses about the garbage service because all the help were walking out him, covid tragedies, and blah blah blah. A police officer was visiting one day and I walked up to him and asked, "Officer, may I ask you a quick question?" He said, "Yes, you should find somewhere else to stay." No refunds once you're in. Leave early, tough luck. That said it all, and now we are in Extended Stay America by the ALB Airport, which is WORLDS better.

"Good value, fair price and comfortable "

8.0

Overall comfortable extended stay accommodations. I would suggest removing carpet as it did not look or feel clean. Beds were comfortable, bathroom had full size tub and good water pressure. Kitchen with full size refrigerator allowed us to save money on food and eat better.

"Intown Suites-Should be condemned"

2.0

I'm somewhat new to Albuquerque but I've been here long enough to know that Albuquerque perhaps all of New Mexico is a cesspool.ย  Intown Suites Albuquerque is reflective of every underhanded, misleading and corrupt thing in Albuquerque.ย  There are so many problems at Intown Suites Albuquerque.ย  Management, front desk staff (Katrina) and maids show no education or professionalism.ย  It's important to know that everyone who works there lives on the property.ย  They hire resident's as maids who have no problem stealing.ย  The property is filthy both inside and out.ย  Trash, liquor bottles, needles and every disgusting thing you can imagine.ย  Resident's are primarily criminals, addicts of all assortments and thieves.ย  The manager fully supports the inappropriate behavior of staff and residents.ย  There are roaches in the rooms, air conditioner/heat ineffective at any temperature.ย  Intown Suites Albuquerque in NO way resembles what's advertised.ย  The rooms are completely outdated.ย  DO NOT STAY THERE!ย  It's definitely unsafe, especially for children.ย  My remedy is to sue and expose Intown Suites Albuquerque for what it is, an unsafe DUMP.ย  The owner/company and manager choosing to ignore concerns and complaints and provide the level of service required of any hotel.ย  They rely upon the ignorance and cowardly behavior of its tenants.ย  Well I'm not from New Mexico thank god.ย  I handle things differently

"Cheaper, but you get what pay for"

4.0

I was stuck there for several weeks, and the rate is cheaper than others, but you also get what you pay for, a VERY small, grungy looking room. The maid was nice, and she seemed to work hard, but the rooms are so old and tired, they need to be remodeled. Loud, obnoxious (& many times drunk) guests, ROACHES, litter & cig butts all over the property & FECES. Although pets aren't allowed, you'd think they'd at least clean up after themselves, but you'll see that's the kind of clientele that lives there.

"The most disgusting place i've seen!"

2.0

Absolutely horrible. We booked this dump and asked the woman at the front desk if we could take a look at the room before paying. We walked in and immediately ran out the other way. I wouldn't let our dog stay in that room.

"Great Stay"

10.0

This hotel saved the day when we were in town for the Balloon Fiesta! The hotel we booked was overbooked and we ended up staying here a few nights. The clerks went out of their way to get us a suite and even split the bill between our group so we could each pay our own part. The breakfast wasn't too bad for free and they always had snacks at night like chips and salsa or cookies. Rooms were nice and beds comfy.

"Barrio"

6.0

The security staff screams at you if you open a window to get some fresh air and, in the meantime, your car is being stripped. Extremely horrible protection unless you park your car inside the room. Room cleaning is a 50/50 and when they do clean, good luck walking on the nasty carpets and tile floors in socks. You'll need extra credits on your laundry card just to get the mud and sand out of your clothes. Bugs are included at no charge and all the rug rats running around outside your room 24/7 will definitely keep you awake and are free of charge. Don't bother yelling at the folks upstairs dropping bowling balls on the floor from 10pm till 6am. If you want a clean, safe, quiet place to sleep, this is NOT the place.
