Hilton Garden Inn Memphis East/Germantown, Tn

This is one of my favorite places to stay. The bar and restaurant has amazing food and drinks. The customer service is always so pleasant. The only issue I had this time was the kids that ran up and down the hallway all night and woke up doing the same thing.

Brand new hotel. Pretty good. Right by the train, which is very noisy Hall hallways were very dirty. Overall, I was negatively surprised at how dirty everything was

I like the restaurant and the safety aspect of this location. I did not like that I had no body wash and just ended up using the bar soap. Many of the AC plugs for charging phones did not work properly in the room I stayed in. I like eating breakfast in the morning and paid extra for it, but could not get a good breakfast one morning because they had no cook. Ended up going to McDonalds down the street.

The room was excellent the view was good the employees were friendly and nice we had a great time

The positives: the room and hotel were clean. They have a restaurant with a bar that closes at 10. They give you water when you check in. The negatives: the shower faucet was broken, making it difficult to operate and the water was cold. It also dripped constantly. The t.v. didn't work. Maintenance attempted to fix for us and couldn't. He requested a new room for us and the front desk told him (not us) she couldn't change rooms for us, that she would give us points. I wonder how she will do that when she told me at check-in that we wouldn't earn points since we booked with a 3rd party. The bed wasn't comfortable and made noise everytime you turned over. After driving 10 hours, this was not a pleasant experience.

The room was neat and clean up upon arrival. Found the shower, dripping shower handle broken.. night maintenance man was able to temporarily repair was repaired the following day happy with that. Front desk was unaware of many procedures, never explained continental breakfast wound up paying for a breakfast that we are entitled to complementary per our contract, had to request twice for clean towels, and housekeeping, which I only received once on the housekeeping. This was for a four night stay.
