Claremont Hotel

Bathroom was very tired looking but was functional. Greeting upon arrival was cold and made us feel a little uncomfortable. Service at breakfast was fast and made us feel rushed. Beds were comfortable and parking was good.

Very clean. Comfy. Fruendly staff. Resonable price. Excellent breakfast.

We stayed for two nights in a family room whilst visiting family in Preston. The Claremont was clean, warm, comfortable and great value. We were delayed due to a cancelled ferry and they very were accommodating about a late check-in.

This is actually the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I knew it was above the station so I called a week ahead asking for a quiet room for myself and my friend and to have the rooms near each other. On arrival, I was told that I had already checked in. Turns out they had confused some names and given my quiet room to someone else. I was given another room not near my friend where l could physically feel the room shaking when the trains went past. It would have been ok but the point of booking a hotel is so that I could get a decent night sleep and be close to a work event for a 5 am wake up the following morning. Instead, I am wide awake and have been told the hotel is fully booked and they can bring ear plugs!!! That’s not going to stop the bed shaking though is it! Charlie and Halle the staff messed up this one.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location Our room was lovely and clean very comfortable and relaxing the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was amazing, free carpark ! Excellent service and value we will definitely be back 😀 thankyou 😀

The Claremont is, a good value, well run Hotel which, I think, is overall a more enjoyable experience than a budget chain Hotel. The bed was fine, the water was hot, there was generous provision of sockets-and even USB sockets, the room was a decent size. On site parking was no problem. Breakfast was excellent, served by pleasant and cheerful staff.

My friend and I were attending an event in Preston and accommodation options were limited. We booked this hotel as there was very little choice within our budget. It’s not a luxurious place but acceptable for what we paid. My friend did not have any toiletries in her room, I had a small piece of soap and a tiny bottle of shampoo. I had one bath towel, my friend had one hand towel. The beds were ok and we slept adequately. There was a lot of noise and the walls are thin. Breakfast was included and was served quickly and tasted good.

Exceeded our expectations. They accommodated an early check in. The room was spacious and spotless! The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was perfect! I would have paid double for this experience. An absolute gem! Thanks to all

Here for a couple nights while staying in Preston for a family party. Nice large room with individual furnishings to make more welcoming. The people at the hotel were warm and welcoming providing a hearty breakfast. All was relaxing and friendly.
