Hotel Casa Cascada

This hotel is lovely and comfortable! The beds were comfortable and rooms very clean! The AC and wifi worked well. The staff is super helpful and offer discounted rates on tours and taxis! It’s a bit of a walk to the main area, however there are plenty of cheap food and bakery options minutes away from the hotel. We walked everywhere no problem. We would stay again without hesitation!

Super clean, spacious rooms with comfortable bed and good shower

Very kind and thoughtful owners, with the son being always down for a chat, the father an official park guide that can help with organizing trips and the mother taking great care of you to ensure your room is comfortable. Room is super clean and tidy, everyday they came in to tidy it up. The area has many little shops and food options, bustling with locals and no tourists, love it!

The neighborhood has many dogs that bark loudly throughout the night, but that's a minor inconvience.

The decoration

The hotel is located in a terrible neighborhood (La Cascada) , and the streets are filthy and stinky. I had to pick up empty bottle of alcohol from the entrance and trought them away in the bin of my room. The street is highly congested; people put very loud music all day and night, and cars make a lot of noise. Taxi prices rise at night. The hotel is located far from restaurant and town, so expect to spend a cab fare each way. With the money you'll spend on taxis, you should book an hotel near the center. The neighborhood is unsafe; avoid walking after 21:00, especially if you are a woman.
