Hotel Casa Cascada

Besides a hostel they also have a sort of travel agency and they helped us a lot. We got some really nice discounts. The rooms are clean, spacious, have air conditioner, hot water and private bathroom.

We had an issue with the gear we rented from there, but I think that was just unlucky. We like about everything about our accommodation. The distance from the center is only 15 min walk or 4 min taxi (every taxi only costs 1.5 usd). With the money we saved booking trips with our host we could have taken taxis everywhere. Another advantage of the location is prices for food. The food in that area is 3 or 4 times cheaper than on tge turist side, so again.. The location helped a lot.

The room and its bathroom were clean and pretty big. We slept very well since the bed was comfortable and the AC cooled the room to pleasant temperature. Moreover, this hostel had the fastest Wifi of all the places we stayed at in the Galapagos Islands. Lastly, the owner is super nice and he gave us lots of good recommendations.

There's nothing not to like.

The room has a good size, the beds are comfortable, and the shower is super nice. There is water to refill your bottle. WiFi is quite fast (outside of our room). The owner helps with tours and excursions.

The WiFi reception in the room (third floor) was not super good. Outside good connection. No kitchen, so you can't cook or have a tea. The location is good 20 mins. walk from the center (or 1,50$ taxi), but we liked to see the local life there.

Affordable, comfortable, clean, great shower with hot water!! Friendly staff, give useful information. Just a 15 minute walk from the more lively area of town.

Lovely hosts. Very clean and over all a very good place to stay.

What i liked most Is that the structure was very well cleaned. The room was very big and with A/C. The beds super confortable. The room was very bright. I liked the location as It Is between the main points (turtles bay, Darwin stations etc) and some minutes away from the fully turists zones. I liked the people around the structure, the local market and other local things. The host and her husband are nice. They gave me many explanations and i could contact them many time for every question.

I did not like that in my room there was a lot of noise. I could not sleep as I was in the First floor. But if you sleep upper rooms will be fine. I had my room also near the common kitchen and there was a lot of noise in the morning!! The host was nice but when I asked some tips for diving she wanted to reserve for me a dive center without telling me with which dive center. She Is also selling the boat tours to the other Islands at 35 instead of 30 USD (btw I did not ask the reason ...maybe there was something included ;-) ). When i extended for the room she asked me some more dollars compaired with booking!
