SpringHill Suites by Marriott Franklin Cool Springs

I definitely didn't have much luck at this hotel. I arrived on January 22, 2025 at 1:30 a.m. I was eager for the Uber to get to the hotel as quickly as possible because I was hoping for a room with heat. But when I got into the room it was much colder than the hallways, to be exact the thermostat was reading 55 degrees Fahrenheit. So I figured someone had selected the dial incorrectly. So I checked but it was on the heat position, so I turned the temperature control up to 80 degrees Fahrenheit to get it to heat up quickly but it never did. It seems the hotel staff already knows the problem because there is a letter suggesting you ask for more blankets if after turning the heater off and on again it still doesn't work. I asked the front desk for a room change but they told me they had no clean rooms, so thumbs down for the front desk because I don't care if the room is dirty, I just want to be able to sleep without feeling my ears and face frozen. It's impossible to take a bath like that because you can catch a cold, so this has been a nightmare in this $200 a night hotel. A good idea I was given in the course I was taking was to use the hair dryer to warm up the clothes and bed a bit. Even though the AC control is completely turned off with the switch in the off position, the brand new unit mentioned in the letter continues with the fan on. That's the reason for my rating. Sorry if I'm exaggerating. But I would never recommend this hotel to anyone because I wouldn't want to have what happened to me happen to you. You can probably find other cheaper or more expensive options that do have the heating working.

It's not the Drury (Which is a good thing)

Nice hotel with good dining options within walking distance. The air conditioning units do NOT work for heat. If you are traveling during the winter...not normally a problem for Tennessee, but it was below freezing this week and room never got above 65F.

Hotel front desk people were great! Room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was the GPS stopped was not close to the hotel. We called the front desk and they helped us find the hotel. The hotel is tucked in a little bit and the hotel sign is not positioned in a way to see the hotel.

Excellent place to stay. Easy parking. Plenty of restaurants that are walking distance. 👍

Everything was wonderful, but our bed was a little to firm for us.

Had a good, quick one-night stay here as part of traveling through. Two queen beds room. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and roomy. I was traveling solo so it didn't bother me, but the bathroom is literally at the end of the beds, which could be annoying when sharing the room with others, but was fine for me. Bit of an awkward position for the TV, but it is what it is. Decent breakfast to start the day. Would stay here again.

Very nice place and good location. We uber’d into downtown Franklin and it was a short ride.
