We had a short little 3 night stay in Kaprun and chose the auhof for our stay. The 2 bdrm apartment comes well equipped and the views from the second floor are great. The owner we very good in communication and always had a big smile and was eager to help with any wishes. I would recommend the breakfast too. It is a nice spread and they are more than happy to make you a nice cappuccino in the morning.

My 2nd visit to this hotel and couldn't enjoy more. Great hotel, great location and amaizig suits. The owner is super supportive to the visitors and he always gives enough time to his guests to explain the city and gives best suggestions. You get Kaprun summer card which allows you access majority of attractions free of cost. I highly recommend the hotel. Great place for families.

My family stayed in January 2018. at style apartment no 3. It was well equipped and maintained with all necessary appliances. Bathroom was spacious with both bath tub and shower. Our dish washer which wasn't working was replaced one day after our complaint Ideal location for skiers considering that both Zell am See Kaprun ski resorts are equally distant from it, just 10 min drive. Supermarket is nearby as well as ski school and big Tauern Spa is 2 minutes away. No view whatsoever from nice terrace in front.Most of the time hotel didn't have anyone available for guests at the reception , but when you ask at the restaurant for some help , they will immediately find someone to assist. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay .

My family and me have been staying at the Auhof every winter since 2012 and we love it to bits. It offers beautiful rooms in different price ranges, the food is amazing and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is amazing because the Maiskogel is right in front of the hotel and there's also a bus stop to take the Skibus to the Kitzsteinhorn. There's also the Alpinskischule right across the street and a variety of Apres Ski places within walking distance. The hotel also has a contract with The Tauern Spa which allows every guest to go to the very expensive spa for free.

We stayed at Suite 55.The views are great from the room, very clean,great terasse,maiskogen across the street,tauern spa only 2min by car,many sport possibilities in the area,very close to the glacier. The only negative is not much choise for breakfast ( no sweets),but everything very tasty in the restaurant also.Staff super friendly.

First of all when I red others reviews I have to say that Auhof is not classics hotel, but You rent apartmants there. So U haven ´t there, room service every day etc., but in the other side You have all "hotel" comfort there are (restaurant, ski room, garage, WiFi) big plus is location, great view and friendly staff. Apartmants are beautifull with modern furniture. This Year we were second time at Auhof and next Year we will go for sure again ;-) so I can only recommended :-)

This year, it should be our third visit of Auhof. We made a reservation of two bedroom apartment in september 2015 via Booking.com. Everythig was confirmed and on 20-th of february 2016 we arrived to Kaprun and receptionist in Auhof told us they are sorry, but our apartment is occupied !!! They offered us much smaller appartment with cheaper price ( 382 EUR cheaper in compare to apartment we booked originally ). We did not accept this, because apartment didnt have four normal beds, but only two and sofa for other two people to sleep ( we are two adults and two children ). Then they offered us a bigger apartment then we booked originally, but they asked us to pay 670 EUR more !!! What a cunning people they are !!! They made a mistake, didnt inform us in advance ( if we know, we wouldnt arrive ) and in the end they ask for more money. We understand, that mistakes are happening, but good hotel should offer the same, or better apartment, but for the same money, if this happens !!! The couple on reception in Auhof was just ridiculous. We left them and we found other apartment in Kaprun ourselves. For this attitude, they will never see us in Auhof again.
