Really nice funky room garden view courtyard /restraint seating Birds nice big balcony

Cons : 1. Wifi never worked for us. So not sure what 'free wifi' meant for! On asking staff, we were told that it was a network problem. We stayed for 3 nights without any changes. 2. Bathroom doors inconvenient - no door knobs. 3. In the name ecoresort, almost made it a jungle. Pros : Moderately clean and conveniently located if you are looking to stay in Centro Tulum.

Clean and tidy. But felt a little unsafe. There is an open air shower and it would be possible for a workman in the ground floor to see in because there are gaps in the foliage. Also, the lights in the corridor come on in a timer (fine) but only stay on for a few seconds ( not fine) so I often ended up in a dark corridor. Also there isn’t a lock on both sides of the bathroom door meaning someone could climb up into the shower and get into the bedroom. Not likely but shouldn’t be possible. The lady who checked me in was rather grumpy. If I were with someone I would stay again but not if I was on my own. Nice soft towels and decent toiletries. Comfy bed.

Our room is next to the bar or restaurant so I found this place so noisy. 12 midnight when the music off.

Great place to stay! I’m front of the ADO and all the small buses for transportation. The place is clean and amazing for the price!

A great boutique hotel! It was air-conditioned (which is rare in Tulum), and we were given handmade soap at the front. La Tulumeña has bike (motor, electric, and bicycles) rentals and a yummy restaurant. Before going to dinner, we would sit on the porch in the hammock and order drinks from the restaurant. The drinks were delicious and a good price. The best part of our stay was meeting JJ! JJ gives the absolute best service and has great energy!

Beautiful and quiet. A little walk into town, but altogether wonderful.

No free breakfast here, but the breakfast options at the restaurant taste great. For some reason trip advisor shows free breakfast for this location. Room was small but clean, no issues with the AC. Bathroom doors are saloon style and drove us nuts, nitpicky but it was so frustrating.. We booked this place to finish our trip after a resort stay at playa del carmen, and it was a good stay for the buck.

The hotel is very nice and conveniently located (directly across from the bus station), the front desk is very helpful and responsive, wifi is fast, beach towels are available to rent, the rain shower in the bathroom balcony is lovely - it felt like the closest thing to showering outdoors but in complete privacy. The only downside is that it has a restaurant and bar attached, and a couple of nights I could hear the music even while wearing earplugs. Also, the provided soaps and shampoo simply wouldn't froth - they might want to switch brands.
