Wow wow wow! So amazing! Definitely exceeded our expectations for the price we paid! I was so hesitant to stay here but after reading the other raving reviews decided to give it a go. The service AMAZING, the food & drinks in the restaurant and bar AMAZING! Literally only complaint would be the beds are a little hard, but everything else about this place was so wonderful. Maria was a dream and was so helpful in creating such a wonderful romantic experience for us. The on site scooter and bike rentals were awesome. Luis, Neri and Marcos were so fun and attentive. The entire staff really. Stay here!! Perfect location and experience. Definitely recommending to everyone I know looking to travel to Tulum!

The design and decor is awesome. I would describe it as modern, eclectic, innovative, clean, comfortable, unique. The design alone is worth a visit. I personally liked that the bathroom was sort of open, meaning you are afforded privacy - but you are almost outside since you have just 3 walls and a ceiling. The bugs were not a problem. But I could appreciate that some people might not like this set up. I felt safe. The hotel restaurant is charming and intimate. I only take 1 star away for noise. We were able to drown it out with the air conditioner on. If you like to sleep with windows open, or without air conditioner, noise could possibly be a concern.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff was very attentive and friendly, I loved the central location meaning I could literally walk everywhere and there are so many restaurants on the strip so it’s the perfect location.

We spent there 10 beautiful days! The place is located in the center of tulum in front of the Ado Station! The staff were really nice and always ready to help! Maria and Lucia were really kind to us! The room was cleaned every day and the internet connection was really good! To make the long story short the perfect place to be! Thanks tulumena! Claudia.

Had such a great stay. Took a solo trip to Tulum and this was a perfect home base. Great vibe, very friendly staff, clean rooms, and can’t beat the location. The restaurant/bar is adjacent and hosts live music. They also make the best mezcal drinks for a cheap price. Maria answered any question I had and helped me with bike rentals. Couldn’t believe I got such a good price on the hotel for what it offered. Highly recommend.

Wow. What a weekend. We came to Tulum to experience the culture, history, bars, restaurants etc. But we ended up staying at the hotel the entire time. The cocktails are spectacular, the atmosphere fantastic, the service perfect. I have never been more content to sit and drink my poor liver to oblivion. After waking up from a heavy night and deciding to have breakfast and a coffee in their beautiful garden, we decided that this was all we needed to see in Tulum; this garden of Eden. Now 9 hours into our 3rd day of being at la tulumena we must leave and it is with a heavy heart that I depart this heaven, this paradise, here where in spite of ourselves we have made history in drinking more than the waitress had ever seen in her life I have discovered my second home. Thank you La tulumena.

We stayed at Tulumena one night & were very impressed. We were checked in by the sweetest most welcoming young lady. It is a boutique hotel with amazing Bamboo accents. Charming artwork throughout & live music at the garden restaurant. If we knew this place was such a gem we would of booked longer. The water pressure was strong with a modern rain head. We also have a balcony that we love. The A/C is strong in the room & it is impeccably clean. We will will definitely be coming back & I highly recommend it.

The receptionist speaks English which is great, super friendly and we are able to check in earlier. The room and bathroom was comfortable and clean, one of the best shower we had in Tulum. Internet was quiet fast for Mexico. I’d say one of the best accommodations in Tulum with this price. And again the receptionist were super kind, to check the taxi prices for us even we checked out almost an hour late cs we thought it was till 12.

Nice place and friendly place. Just one issue, the place is not 24/7 front desk like mentioned in the description. When we checked out in the morning at 8:30am there was nobody to give us our deposit (it was cash). Had to wait 1 week to get a deposit back through western union (they don't give back on credit card for some reason). Just make sure to communicate with them begore your checkout.
