"Great hotel, poor airport shuttle"

Lovely hotel, friendly staff.

Airport shuttle was not organised at all, either for arrival or departure. We tried phoning the hotel when we arrived at the airport but all the phone options were only Spanish and really fast and we couldn't understand what was said. And it took 4 attempts at calling, waiting a long time until we could speak to a person. Departure was poor also: we had 'booked' to go on the 6:30am shuttle leaving but when we got to the bus it was full - the staff said "more people came" - but surely those who had booked should have priority? It seemed like no-one at the hotel had counted - or not properly. Or the hotel staff let those who had not booked onto the bus first. We had to wait for other transport and we were 20 minutes later to the airport.

Conveniently located next to rhe airport with free shuttle. Easy to leave your big luggage for a longer period if you want to do a week off light. Extremely spacy rooms with tea/coffee amenities + iron and ironboard. Superb breakfast and in case you have time, enjoy their pool brunch!

The property is beautiful and the staff is excellent.

From what I could tell, there was only one option for breakfast, so I ended up paying $23.00 for two cups of coffee and a few bites of scrambled egg. I live in Ecuador, and this is more than I pay for most full lunches or dinners - including a glass of wine! A real disappointment
