Excellent location and clean apartment

We loved the location , it was very central and easy to walk everywhere.

We needed information on how to use the oven/ cooker hood, and also on the location of the washing machine. We needed a lot more cups, we were continually washing up , and 2 tablets for the dishwasher was definitely not enough. For 7 nights we would have expected 7 tablets.

Big spacious apartment a short, easy walk to the centre. It's also right next to bus stop 9 for airport transfers and excursions and has a few supermarkets open until late nearby.

Some of the neighbours were a bit noisy but it was a national holiday so probably an isolated occurance.

It’s location

It was noisy.

The apartment was lovely and clean. The building itself looks old from the outside but this 3rd floor apartment is modern and spacious and has all the comforts required for a family stay. The location is central to down town Rejkavik and ideally located. The communications and tips from the owner are great and the mesages we recieved were helpful and timely. Check in was easy and on street parking was available close by.

The 3rd floor won't suit everyone but was fine for this group. On street parking was in the P1 zone (paid) but free parking was available near the famous Church in Rejkavik only 5 minutes walk away.

Location ideal

lack of facilities in kitchen, noise from other apartments kept us awake, compact but we knew that when we booked, photos made it look bigger than it is.

Everything was simply perfect. Great location, close to everything you'll need during your stay. The apartment was very comfortable for 4 people (maybe I wouldn't recommend it for 6 even if there's an additional sofa bed). Great and fast communication with the landlord and the price is fair for what is offered to you. Very recommended!

I would just suggest to add 1-2 frying-pans in the kitchen cause the sauce pans sometimes were a bit uncomfortable to cook vegetables or sausages and similar stuff

Really good location within easy reach of attractions and close to one of the bus stops. Plenty of towels, pillows, loo rolls etc and it is always handy when there are tea bags, coffee, dishwasher tabs etc

As mentioned on occasions before the landing light does not work so phone torches were needed to be able to unlock the door. Never a great sign when you open the oven to find the oven tray needs cleaning. Disturbed by noisy neighbours on a couple of nights.

everything was perfect as far as the apartment is concerned

Only problem I had was I wasn't aware it was on the 3rd floor and being disabled caused some problems for me.
