"Excellent family apartment conveniently located to downtown Reykjavik"

Our favourite thing about the apartment was the location - so easy to explore downtown Reykjavik by just walking around. We also really liked the living space - the sofa is extremely comfortable and our teens definitely took it over. Although we didn't cook, the kitchenette seemed well stocked if we had chosen to do so. The decor was also really nice and comfortable with practical things, such as shoe cabinets in the hallway, to make our stay feel more homey.

It's not that we didn't like it, but the fan in the bathroom may not be strong enough. It gets very steamy after a shower and you could see some mold starting to grow in the top corner of the room. Otherwise, the bathroom is really nice with lots of space for your toiletries.

"Good location but not suitable for individuals who have difficulties with lots of stairs."

The area of town the apartment was located in was great. Unfortunately, we were not aware that the apartment was on the third floor and only accessible by stairs. As older travelers with old joints, dealing with so many stairs on a daily basis was challenging.

It would have been nice to have a few more instructions available in the apartment. For example, there were a number of bins presumably to sort waste, but we didn't know what was to be placed in which receptacle. A bit more direction on how to use the washing machine would have been helpful as well.

"Fabulous location and a comfortable stay."

The apartment was very well located. We loved the walkable nature of the area! The space was clean and comfortable.

Unfortunately, the laundry was not working. This was unfortunate as we were hoping that we could wash our limited wardrobe!!

"Best deal"

Location was perfect, close to a major bus hub and shops. Comfortable beds and sofa, nice and large spaces, washing machine and dishwasher a huge plus. The fact that we could cook at the apartment saved us a lot of money. Really helpful and swift communication. If we ever go back to Iceland, it's definitely our no1 option in terms of accommodation

3rd floor without elevator was a bit tiresome, but that's how it is in Iceland. Towels had some stains on them, so 90° wash next time - overall nothing too negative
