Pilgrim's Lookout Whitstable Holiday Home!

Brilliant location, right by a bus stop to station, Canterbury etc. A stones throw from the prom. very well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms were quite spacious and very quiet. Decent shower. Bigger than we expected and no noise from the bowling alley opposite, only noise on the front was traffic from the not particularly busy road, bedrooms are on the back.

We weren’t particularly thrilled at being directed to take all our rubbish home. We had come by train and we could hardly take a bag of garbage through three changes of train! We couldn’t find any domestic recycling (we hadn’t got a car) and had to dispose of garbage and recycling in litter bins. If the property can’t provide facilities to dispose rubbish it could provide information on where you can. We are always happy to put bins out and return them but can’t ever recall being asked to take our rubbish home.

Convenient for town and free parking nearby. Beds were comfy but there were a few cleanliness issues especially in the Communal hallway. Lacked a few kitchen essentials and we were surprised to be expected to take our rubbish home. That’s simply not practical for most people!
