"Room defects in an expensive room"

The room was clean but had the following defects in Room 4 - toilet seat broken. TV could not be tuned, bedside lamp not working; St Andrews is an expensive destination and I expect the room to meet a high standard

"Exceptional"

The Guest House was great, close to town and the Old Course. The room was spacious, we had a king bed. The shower was a little small but the water pressure was great and the water hot. You could open 2 windows for fresh air and there was a fan there if needed. Parking can be a bit tricky but once we secured a free carpark on Murray Lane, we walked everywhere. A great location. Would book again if we came back to St Andrews.

Great location & very clean. Staff very helpful when we had a problem with the electric. The bathroom in room 2 is very small but manageable for a 2 night stay

Good communication and help before arrival. We didn’t see a member of staff at all, probably due to less contact because of covid. The room was exceptionally clean, very comfortable bed and adequate en suite. Downsides, felt the available space could have been better utilised, there was no hanging space but a corner could have held at least a rail.

Location is perfect. Easy walking everywhere, including golf course. Room 8 has a really tiny bathroom and shower
